About the Role:

 

I am currently looking for a creative minded Bid & marketing focused Graphic Designer with experience on InDesign & Revit for a highly respected and slick construction contractor based in London. This new requirement has come to light due to a huge number of incoming tender enquires which are stretching the current pre-construction / bid team to its absolute limit, along with a requirement for a refresh of company branding and marketing materiel. This opportunity offers a doorway into a busy, well experienced but small pre-con / marketing team with a huge opportunity for progression up the ranks. The current team work closely together with a great atmosphere in the office helping them get an average of 15 live tenders in and out each month.

 

The role itself is one that will fit only the most creative and determined candidates. You will slot into the existing team, reporting into the MD & Pre-con Director. Your mission: to coordinate and pull together all of the areas of the bids into InDesign whilst making the entire document look more beautiful than sunshine on a winters morning– some call it Bid Management, some call it spinning 14,000 thin china plates blindfolded on a tight role whilst trying to paint the Mona Lisa…. Easy, right?

 

If you’re not coordinating client facing tender submissions and responding to PQQs you’ll be designing new layouts and logos to make the Bid Documents stand out from the crowd. Sound fun? Requirements:

 

Suitable candidates will have experience of designing construction bids & marketing materiel using InDesign having worked on multiple quick turnaround bids within the new build, refurb or fit out markets. They will need to have a balanced portfolio of experience and will have Proven bid coordination skills, be able to represent the company at pre-construction meetings and be seen to add value to the bid process. They will have a no-holds-barred can do attitude an unbreakable work ethic and be meticulously organised.

 

About the benefits / rewards:

 

The salary will be dependent on the individuals’ level of experience and personality fit and is not set in stone. The company offers excellent opportunities and a basic salary of up to £28k depending on the individuals’ level – plus a generous benefits package including healthcare and company bonus.
