Are you a Junior CAD Technician who is interested in working for one of the UK’s leading enabling works contractors who work on complex engineering projects throughout Central London?

Due to successful company growth, my client is recruiting permanently. If you have a minimum of 1 years post graduate experience working within the residential and commercial UK construction market and are familiar in using BIM and Revit along with AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and Microsoft Office, please get in touch.

About the company:

Our privately owned client who is based in Central London is a leading name within the enabling works industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £80M. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, basement construction, remediation, earthworks and concrete frames and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust.

All of their operational and surveying teams operate out of their Central London office, which offers their employees the ability to jump on the train (if not walk) to their sites within 30 minutes. The benefit of this allows complete cooperation across all departments, creating a stream lined process and team approach.

With a low staff turnover, this specialist contractor, who operate as principle contractor on the majority of their projects, rarely recruits. Having met with this business and several of the leadership team, I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a polished, professional company that can offer fantastic career progression opportunities.

About the opportunity:

Due to company expansion, our client is recruiting permanently for a Junior Cad Technician who has a clear understanding of building design and the construction process.

As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing 2D/3D engineering drawings and creating 3D BIM Models using Archicad for complex engineering projects carried out in Central London with package values ranging up to £15M.

The current team is small in essence, consisting of 3 employees and the team is headed up by The Head of Digital who has been with the business for over 7 years. He offers a professional but fun working environment and invests highly in the development of his team members.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £28,000 to £35,000 per annum, however, specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer including travel expenses paid in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful construction company.
