Our client is currently recruiting for their Housebuilding division which develops sites that provide private and affordable housing, on land owned or controlled by the Group. They are one of the U.K’s leading residential developers and have received more than 340 awards for design and sustainability excellence since 2000. Ranging from town houses through to high rise apartment block our client is at the forefront of the U.K’s residential market.


About the role:

Our client is currently recruiting a Junior Bid Writer for their Land and New Business team Writer to work in support of the Senior Bid Writer to deliver high quality bids through outstanding writing and editing.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Work closely with the Land and New Business Team to produce first class bids
  • Write content using brainstorm sessions where content is mapped out
  • Work with the Senior Bid Writer and New Business Managers, overseeing input from the various teams
  • Editing / re-writing and managing standardised text to meet client requirements
  • Co-ordinating the standard information reference library, ensuring it is continually updated with current information
  • Liaising with internal and external consultants in order to source the required relevant information
  • Creating high quality graphically design documents both internally and through managing external agencies to produce bid submissions, PQQs, presentations, Soft Market Testing documents and capability documents


About the benefits and rewards:

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector.  In this instance they are ideally looking to pay up to £25,000 basic salary plus a benefits package.


About the requirements:

You will ideally be a Graduate in an English related discipline that is passionate about housebuilding, construction and customer service with a strong command of both spoken and written English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Some understanding of bidding and construction is beneficial but not essential.
