Our privately owned client who is based near Reading is a leading name within the scaffolding and brickwork industry with a group annual turnover in excess of £20M. Their services include scaffolding, brickwork, stonework, facades and their strong reputation for successfully finishing challenging projects has been built on delivery and trust. They pride themselves on having excellent relationships with their clients which has enabled them to grow strongly as a business.

With low staff turnover, this specialist subcontractor rarely recruits and this opportunity has arisen purely due to company expansion. About the opportunity:

Due to the on-going expansion of the company and winning of new projects, our client is recruiting permanently for an experienced Health and Safety Manager with vast experience of working within one of the following scaffolding, brickwork, stonework and facades sectors. You will be covering projects along the M25 and inside of London.

The successful Health and Safety Advisor will report directly to the SHEQ Director will be responsible for the day-to-day health and safety duties which will include implementing the companies’ health and safety policies, preparing method statements, risk assessments and construction phase plans and undertaking site inspections throughout Central London & the home counties. About the salary/rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, we are targeting construction professionals who are looking to earn anywhere from £55,000 £62,000 per annum however specific salary will be defined upon experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered (car allowance) in addition to the standard benefits associated with a large successful construction company (pension, health care, laptop, phone, etc.)

About the requirements:

To be considered for this opportunity, professionals must have proven experience of working specifically within the demolition sector. Additionally, as this is a permanent opportunity, professionals must be able to demonstrate longevity in the workplace, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 2 years. It’s essential you also have a driving licence.
