Our client is a successful large Residential Developer Company who has built an excellent reputation for undertaking a variety of construction projects through all stages. They work on new build, refurbishment and maintenance of a variety of housing and social multimillion pound projects. The company is currently expanding massively due to large success and they need a Health and Safety Director to cover the London Borough of Ealing region of the country.

The company has had a large amount of success in the last few years and has a vast order book for the near future. They have proven expertise in producing the best quality for all projects.  The company has maintained strong turnover and profits throughout the last recession and they have continued to grow ever since.

 

About the role:

Due to excellent growth and changes within the business they have decided to recruit for a new position.

The role that is available is of Senior Health and Safety Manager to cover all areas of Health and Safety on the sites in and around the London Borough of Ealing region.

The main duties of the role will include, ensuring all contracts comply to the Health and Safety regulations, making sure the company is compliant, managing a health and safety team and enforcing the regulations on site, including ISO 9001, 14001 & OSHAS is up to date.

The role is also involved in daily duties such as site inductions, collecting all training records and updating the paperwork and safety meetings and looking after teams on multiple sites.

The role would ideally suit someone who is self-motivated, able to work under pressure and skills and ability in working in a team and alone.

 

Requirement Information

The candidate needs to have had a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the Health and Safety in the Construction Industry.

Recognised Health and Safety Qualification.

Good IT skills.

Excellent communication management and team work skills.

As well as working within a team, the candidate also needs to be able to be self-motived for working alone also and able to deal with the pressure of multiple tasks.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary is up to £75,000 plus car allowance.
