About The Opportunity:

Due to the on-going expansion of the company and winning of new projects in and around London our client is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to work alongside the company’s regional Health and Safety Manager.  This is a role aimed towards someone with a wiliness to progress, with the Manager looking for someone whom he can mould into a well-polished H&S professional. Focussing on two newly won residential projects with values in excess of £50m, it will the responsibility of the successful individual to maintain and uphold safety standards to the company’s exceptionally high standards. They will receive training where needed, and have the opportunity for long term progression within a growing business.

About the Company:

My Client are the main contracting division of a large construction group who utilise all the company’s in-house resources and facilities to provide clients with a bespoke construction service. This company have gone back to the time when contractors carried out work themselves with a dedicated, reliable workforce and their own fleet of plant and equipment. Our work is carried out in-house for the following disciplines: piling, reinforced structure, pre-cast elements, facades and glazing, M and E, dry-lining, craneage and scaffolding. This gives us direct contact with specialist expertise all under one roof rather than through a remote supply chain of suppliers and sub-contractors who have their own agendas and interests to protect. With a broad range of construction experience and expertise in commercial and residential developments, This Company offer clients truly exceptional performance in high-rise construction where the Group’s skills are particularly suited.


The successful candidate must have the ability to implement maintain and uphold safety standards on large residential projects, and should have experience in the same or very similar role.  They will have excellent communication skills to enable them to work closely with the different teams involved. Proven experience of managing H&S on large projects is a must, along with relevant qualifications and a personality to match a role of this scale. The perfect candidate will have been a lead H&S Manager on residential projects in excess of £50m and will be looking for a long term role with the plan to progress and develop.

About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry and experience on related projects. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary around £45,000 – £55,000. The package will also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.
