About the Company:

Our client is a specialist high-end maintenance company based in Hertfordshire, undertaking works on some of London’s finest properties.  The business leaders have developed a niche and a strong network of clients.


About the Role:

Our client is in need of an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee maintenance and some small refurbishment projects within the Prime Residential Market. Key areas include coordination of pre-construction, operational and commercial teams, performance and contractual awareness. The individual we are looking for will be enter the company and become a key member of senior management, reporting directly to Director Level.

You will be expected to oversee but not be limited to the following:

  • Maintain established profit margins and improve wherever possible
  • Manage tradesmen & multi trades
  • Ensure that all team members act in accordance with Company policy at all times in respect of financial dealing on behalf of the Company
  • Oversee the construction team within your control to ensure that they function efficiently and correctly
  • Oversee the commercial and pre-construction team within your control to ensure that they function efficiently and correctly
  • Protect the interest of the Company and foster good working relationships with Clients, Client Advisors and subcontracting organisations for the benefit of the Company
  • Ensure that all contracts achieve the company goals of within budget, on time, safely and to the clients requirements
  • Develop new business


About the benefits / rewards:

£50,000 and £65,000



The Suitable candidate will either have long term experience in prime residential, maintenance, small works & refurbishment. You will ideally have extensive trade knowledge and experience in managing multiple project through the full lifecycle from quotes through to invoicing. The ideal candidate will also be able to commute to the company’s office in the Watford area.
