About the Company:

My client is a privately owned business and renowned residential developer delivering high-quality homes in a range of formats including traditional build housing developments to apartment blocks, listed restorations & conversations and large-scale regeneration schemes. They have a broad area of operation with developments running in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Surrey, Hertfordshire, Kent and the outer London boroughs.

They have recently delivered schemes including:

  • Development of 143 apartments’ duplexes and townhouses.
  • Redevelopment of existing 11 storey office building to 75 residential units.
  • Development of 24 units in 5 storeys.
  • Development of 85 semi-detached and terraced houses on brownfield site

The business is forward-thinking and run a number of supporting business such as logistics, enabling them to maintain fully project control. They also have off-site production facilities allowing them to pre-manufacture and standardise many of their build components, enabling them to ensure quality and drive build programmes.


About the Role:

Our client has a standout position, recruiting for a BIM Manager, who will be responsible for the implementation and roll out of BIM & modelling software to all divisions within the business.


As key a member of the Design and Technical team, you will have the opportunity to deliver business wide and implement the use and champion BIM across the group. The duties of this role will include

  • Create and manage the implementation for BIM
  • Produce and oversee project modelling
  • Support, coach and mentor individuals in BIM
  • Producing monthly reports for senior managers, to identify and measure BIM implementation
  • Leading meetings to identify project tasks and resolve issues
  • Oversee and management of budget in relation rollout
  • Adhering to the latest industry standards and regulations.


About the benefits / rewards: (Always NEG dependent on experience)

About  Requirements:

  • BIM Management experience
  • Previously held a lead role in the implementation of BIM
  • Proficient use and understanding of AutoCAD and BIM software packages.
