About the opportunity:

Every new home built costs money and it’s the commercial team’s responsibility to ensure its being spent wisely! During the initial planning phases you will estimate how much everything will cost. Once things progress you will then purchase materials and subcontractor services which will be needed to successfully deliver the project. Costs are then monitored along the way to ensure the development is built to budget.

Based in North London you will be working in a team of Estimators, Buyers and Quantity Surveyors and despite a variety of disciplines everyone has the same objective. Every team works together to create award winning developments.

About the benefits and rewards:

In general, salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries will be set at a mutually agreeable level with set parameters to increase in line with performance. In this instance, the company are looking to pay up to £25,000 basic salary, car allowance, discretionary bonus, supplier discounts, medical cover, pension, childcare vouchers and holiday increasing with length of service.

They also offer a range of training and development opportunities such as specialist job specific courses and accredited management courses along with other development programmes where many enable you to achieve a nationally recognised qualification.

About the requirements:

For this opportunity we are considering Graduate/Trainee Surveyors degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar. We are also considering Assistant Surveyors with a couple of years Housebuilding experience preferably working for a Residential Developer or Residential Contractor.
