Expanding their geographical reach they have also recently acquired another housebuilder adding around 5,000 plots to their land bank and invested in their own timber frame factory.

About the opportunity:

Housebuilders must work within the constraint of the planning system and current building regulations as set out by the Government. The Technical department has to devise creative solutions that help the company to meeting customer demands.

The Technical department acts as a primary focal point for a housing developer in providing practical, cost-effective and desirable products. They provide Technical involvement in the initial pre-purchase site evaluations; preparation and submission of planning applications both engineering and architectural; and a continuing involvement in projects right through to final completion including the handover of roads, sewers and communal spaces.

This developer has always been committed to having offices and regions based on patch to developments due to the success this has. This particular opportunity is to join another one of its newest regions in West London, working on a number of regeneration schemes in West London itself (2,800 units), Reading and Watford.

About the benefits and rewards:

In general, salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company. Salaries will be set at a mutually agreeable level with set parameters to increase in line with performance. In this instance, the company are looking to pay up to £20,000 basic salary plus package.

About the requirements:

You must be degree qualified in Architectural Technology.  This opportunity would suit a highly organised professional with strong attention to detail to ensure all details are gathered, co-ordinated, distributed and delivered by the project deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
