Based in the Midlands and operating throughout the UK, our privately owned client who has been established for over 20 years, is a primary name in the design and implementation of ground/water remediation solutions for land regeneration. About the opportunity:

Due to a healthy pipeline of secured work, my client is recruiting for a Geo-Environmental Engineer to assist the Technical Manager in carrying out duties relating to remediation monitoring and verification on projects throughout the Midlands. As a Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will work closely with the site surveyors, technical team and laboratory technicians and be responsible for the following:

  • Monitoring of landfill gas from borehole installations
  • Generation of drum tests and drum gas monitoring
  • Collection and scheduling of chemical samples in accordance with specification
  • Assessment of chemical results again the site specific criteria and record keeping
  • Assisting in data collation for the production of verification reports
  • Assisting in preparation of ITP inspection plans

About the benefits & rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £25,000 to £32,000 per annum however specific salary will be defined upon experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to the standard benefits associated with a large successful company (pension, health care, laptop, phone etc.).

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a BSc or BEng in chemistry, geology or an environmental science disciple and hold 2 years post graduate experience. Additionally, due to site locations, you must hold a full UK driving license.
