Our client is a privately owned, award winning environmental contractor and consultancy who has over 20 years proven experience in providing specialist advice and undertaking quality site investigations and remediation projects. Operating across the UK with regional offices in the South East and The Midlands, our client provides services including remediation, site investigation and risk assessment to various petrochemical companies, retailers, government departments, and land and property owners.

About the opportunity:

Due to continued growth, our client is recruiting for a knowledgeable Geo-Environmental Consultant with 10 years’ post graduate experience to join their team. As a Geo-Environmental Consultant, you will be responsible for managing remediation contracting works, Phase II site investigations and supporting commercial proposals so your time will be split between office and site based working (50/50).

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be degree qualified in a relevant subject and hold 10 years post graduate experience. You must hold broad geo-environmental and project management skills, be experienced in Phase I/II geo-environmental assessments and experience of controlled waters details quantitative risk assessments would be useful. Additionally, due to the remit of work, you must hold a full UK driving license.

About the benefits and rewards

For this permanent opportunity, we are targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, however specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
