My client is a tier two contractor turning over £100m per annum, who is a large supplier that provides civil engineering services to almost two-thirds of the country. Projects are covered in Suffolk, Yorkshire, Cambridgeshire, Kent, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire, and is one of the largest family-owned Civil Engineering companies in the UK. Not only do they pride themselves in valuing customers and suppliers, but they have respect for the community and environment, making a conscious effort to minimise their impact on the environment and the communities in which they work. For over 50 years, core operations have included projects on highway and bridge construction, providing a range of infrastructure improvement services for the railway network, as well as river and marine services. They are looking for ambitious and driven individuals to progress and further their career, as the company moves forward and grows.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be carrying out daily admin tasks for the company on a 3-day part-time contract, with the flexibility to work from home. You will be updating Subcontractor and Supplier details on excel, collating Labour Only subcontract payments for Quantity Surveyors, as well as printing and filing any job enquiries. Final account statements and general admin duties will also be part of your responsibilities.

You must have strong problem-solving skills and administration skills as you will need an understanding and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Office. You will need excellent communication skills, attention to detail as well as dependability and reliability.
