About the Company:

My client specialises in the Marble and Granite industry with services tailoring to both domestic and construction markets, predominately within the bathroom and kitchen stone fit out sector. Undertaking projects from Design through to Production and Installation they’ve acquired a diverse client base ranging from the UKs largest Kitchen manufacturers to Main Contractors and private clients, which has projected a healthy order book and an annual turnover of £5million.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a well-versed estimator from a stonework background who has ideally worked for a competitor. This individual must be client facing and have a transitional skillset of being able to work both operationally and commercially.

Main Responsibilities

Asses enquires and specifications
Take offs
Work to BOQs
Pre-start meetings / Contract Negotiations
Procurement
Oversee installation
Variations
Valuations
Final Accounts

Requirements

Commercially ware
3-5 years estimating experience
Experience in Auto CAD
Knowledge of setting out, measuring and surveying
Knowledge of stonework

Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £40,000 – £50,000. Subject to skill and experience. The company offers a fantastic working environment and will provide the opportunity to progress your career through excellent guidance, support and training.
