About the role:

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, my client is currently recruiting permanently for a knowledgeable Estimator who holds vast experience in demolition / structural alterations. As an Estimator, you will report directly to the Estimating Director and will be responsible for putting together tenders, project costings and valuations for demolition packages throughout London.

Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Preparation of Tender Submission
  • Producing Bills-Of-Quantities and schedules for estimating programs/tender projects
  • Attending project visits
  • Measuring and Take-Offs from drawings
  • Cost Planning
  • Attending pre and post contract meetings with clients
  • Build-up of Tender Price from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that individuals have proven success of working with either a civil engineering or specialist demolition contractor in the UK in addition to holding a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this or a similar role. Furthermore, it is vital that the successful individual is able to use Asta in order to write programmes.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent position, we are targeting individuals looking to earn anywhere from £50,000 to £70,000 per annum, however, specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
