They have been operating for 50 years and have an excellent reputation in the industry. Their services include asbestos removal, temporary works, demolition, remediation, earthworks and concrete works. As they are a specialist demolition contractor they have a mixture of repeat business and constantly engaging with new clients to work on a wide spread of projects. The yearly turnover of our client is approximately £60M. This had been achieved through being market leaders; their use of new technology and from completing projects budgets within set time parameters.

About the role:

Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of work, my client is currently recruiting permanently for a knowledgeable Estimator who holds vast experience in demolition. The commercial team has a great understanding of the demolition industry which they have gained from an excellent background in the industry. As an Estimator, you will report directly to the Estimating Director and will be responsible for putting together tenders, project costings and valuations for demolition packages throughout the UK.

Duties for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Preparation of Tender Submission
  • Producing Bills-Of-Quantities and schedules for estimating programs/tender projects
  • Attending project visits
  • Measuring and Take-Offs from drawings
  • Cost Planning
  • Attending pre and post contract meetings with clients
  • Build-up of Tender Price from first principles based on plans, programme, and scope of works

For this permanent position, we are targeting candidates looking to earn anywhere from £50,000 to £65,000 per annum, however, specific salary will depend on experience and suitability.
