About the opportunity:

Due to continued company growth, my client is recruiting permanently for an Estimator who holds proven experience of putting together tenders, project costings and valuations for technical demolition schemes valued in excess of £1M.

General duties and responsibilities will include by not be limited to:

  • Preparation of tender submissions
  • Measuring and take-offs from drawings
  • Producing bills-of-quantities
  • Cost Planning
  • Pre and post Contract meetings with clients
  • Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that you have proven success of pricing demolition projects valued in excess of £1M. You must hold a construction industry degree or professional qualification (MRICS or MCIOB), a good understanding of the JCT standard forms of contract and hold excellent IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel).

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals who are looking to earn anywhere from £60,000 to £75,000 per annum, however, specific salary will depend on experience and suitability.

Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered in addition to the usual benefits associated with a successful construction company.
