About the company:

Our client is a privately-owned business with a diverse field of operation which has allowed for steady growth and development. Projects are typically in central London extending into major surrounding towns including Mayfair, Wandsworth, Slough, Wimbledon and Knightsbridge among others. The majority of projects are external and internal works on mansion blocks throughout London, however projects have included commercial fit-out, through to education refurbishments and small works and maintenance across high end restaurants and residences.

Beyond the main contracting offering, the business has a special/small works division and have contracts with corporate clients and education authorities. About the Role:

Due to our client’s increased workload they are currently looking to recruit an Estimator to join the commercial team. The candidate will have Estimating or an associated commercial construction background. They would like to bring somebody in who will mold well with the company and work their way up through the company.  You will be based in their head office which is located in SW London. Duties will include issuing tender packages, setting up cost plans, take off & measurements.

 About the benefits / rewards:

The salary will be dependent on level of exposure to industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary between £70,000 – £90,000.

 Requirements:

The Suitable candidate will have experience in Estimating external projects within the construction environment. A structured permeant career showing longevity would be preferred.
