Our client, who is a leading, multi-faceted construction contractor, is currently expanding their remediation division and looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

To date, out client has successfully completed technical projects throughout the UK for local authorities, residential and commercial developers, main contractors and consultants either in the role of principal contractor or subcontractor which range from small spills through to large multi-technology soil and groundwater remediation / development platform preparation on brownfield sites.

About the opportunity:

Due to continued company growth, my client is recruiting permanently for a knowledgeable Estimator who holds proven experience of putting together tenders, project costings and valuations for remediation schemes throughout the South East.

General duties and responsibilities will include by not be limited to:

  • Preparation of tender submissions
  • Measuring and take-offs from drawings
  • Producing bills-of-quantities
  • Cost Planning
  • Pre and post Contract meetings with clients
  • Build-up of tender price from first principles based on plans, programme and scope of works

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, it is imperative that you have proven success of pricing remediation, groundworks or earthworks projects in the UK and demonstrate stability of employment, holding each previous appointment for a minimum of 2 years.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, my client is looking to target professionals who are looking to earn anywhere from £60,000 to £80,000 per annum, however, specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered.
