About the position:

Due to present and anticipated workload, our client has identified the need to expand their team and therefore is recruiting permanently for an Environmental Engineer with 2 years post graduate experience. As an Environmental Engineer, your role will incorporate a mix of office and site based work, providing support and technical advice on multi-disciplinary contracting projects throughout the UK. You will be responsible for assisting senior management teams (site managers and contracts managers); carrying out site investigations, watching briefs and remediation verification site works and sampling, DTS and factual reporting writing skills.

About the requirements:

As an Environmental Engineer, you will be degree qualified in a relevant subject and be chartered or working towards a chartership status. As projects are throughout the UK, the successful candidate must be willing to work away from home for short periods and hold a full UK driving licence. Furthermore, you will have up to date knowledge of contamination risk assessments, investigation and remediation techniques and waste classification and have good site based experience.

About the rewards / benefits:

For this permanent position, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however successful individuals could expect to target a basic salary anywhere from £25,000 – £30,000.
