About the company:

Our client is a growing main contractor with a passion for delivering construction projects with high quality and transparency. They have a portfolio of building residential, commercial and hospitality projects with a more recent focus on the construction of new build hotels. With projects ranging from £10million through to £20million they are looking to continue their growth whilst maintaining a structured process and quality build process.

About the opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity to become an influential member of a growing business with the responsibility for driving the construction of current projects alongside contributing to the winning of new work. Initially you will be overseeing 2 – 3 developments ranging up to £20m in value with a view to this increasing to 4 – 6 projects within the next 12 months.

As the most Senior Construction Manager you will report directly into the Directors of the business, ensuring projects are running smoothly with weekly site visits, client meetings and regular reports.

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector.In this instance they are ideally looking to pay up to £100,000 basic salary plus a benefits package.

About the requirements:

For this opportunity you will need to have experience managing multiple construction projects ranging from £10million upwards in a similar Contracts Manager or Senior Construction Manager role with a main contractor or in-house developer. Our client is looking for someone who is able to look at the bigger picture ensuring processes are put in place and maintained promoting a smooth build process. Furthermore you will be comfortable meeting with clients on a daily basis, managing project teams and liaising with several different teams within the business. It is also essential that you are commercially aware and able to assess what the impacts of construction will have on costs.

This is a long term career opportunity and therefore candidates will need to have shown longevity in their career alongside a proven track record of delivering similar projects from inception through to completion.
