About the Company

Our client is a well-respected specialist with 20 years of experience in the field of façade repair and restoration market across London and the surrounding areas. They act as principle contractor, with projects ranging across the from High Specification Residential, Government, Private, Public and Leisure sectors.  The have worked on many prestigious projects including numerous London Theatres, Historic Markets, Historic Public Houses, and London Estates. Most of their work comes from repeat business and prestigious client referrals with whom they have built close relationships.

 

About the Role: Our client is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager with experience in the restoration sector due to growth and newly awarded contracts. The individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects across the city of London. You duties will include but not be limited to:

 

  • Managing projects to ensure stringent quality, Health and Safety standards, and financial control are met to produce successful and profitable projects
  • To oversee and be solely responsible for a number of large quality restoration projects, primarily in the London area
  • Vetting, appointing and managing sub-contractors
  • To prepare monthly interim project cost reports for the directors and clients
  • Resolving contractual disputes with both sub-contractors and clients
  • Client liaison and to build on an existing robust client base
  • To report to the directors on project progress, programme, quality and finance
  • Managing site teams to ensure compliance with both Health and Safety and Environmental legislation

 

About the benefits / rewards:

  • £55,000 – 70,000

 

Requirements: Candidates will have excellent restoration and refurbishment knowledge within the London area. It is preferable you will be Qualified with a degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying or relevant field.
