Our client is a well-respected specialist in high specification residential projects. The areas they cover are Chelsea, Kensington and Mayfair. They provide a broad range of bespoke individual and specialist building services, from in house design through to construction, refurbishment and ongoing maintenance. Most of their work comes from repeat business and very prestigious and well known client referrals. The company employs its own workforce and projects range from small works up to the value of £10m, all of which use the finest materials.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager who will be reporting directly into senior management. The position forms part of a structured long term development plan for the organization. They are looking for an individual who can add value and become an integral part of the decisions making process within the business.

 

You will be managing between 1 and 3 high end private residential projects ranging in value £300k to £5m. The projects will be in and around the London area on various high end refurbishments including listed buildings for various Architects, Designers and a number of Private Clients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the top high spec companies and can provide fantastic career opportunities. This role would suit somebody with the desire to achieve results by hard work and who wish to participate in the future of one of the most progressive organizations. Our client is looking for an individual who is capable of overseeing the management of site staff, health and safety, organisation of operating manuals, planning with site staff, and over all smooth coordination and cohesion of site and office staff, subcontractors, materials and planning.

REQUIREMENTS

You should have either a degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related field or have experience of working up through a trade background.  Experience in high specification residential construction is a necessity; the ideal candidate will also have experience of running working across multiple jobs at one time.  Candidates will have experience of working within the role of Project Manager and be comfortable interacting with clients and managing a number of projects concurrently. They want someone who can come into the business and hit the ground running. You will be able to use your own initiative, hard work ethic and a strong permanent background.
