About the company

My client is a multi-disciplined, cash rich, well known contractor with a superb reputation within Water and Civil Engineering. They are currently turning over £65M per annum and are growing and a good but sensible speed. They specialise primarily within the water (wastewater and clean water) as well as infrastructure and non-infrastructure areas of civil engineering, with offices in North London, Kent and on the south coast. This role will be based in London.

About the role:

The reason this position has come about is because of the growth of my client and wining work on Thames Water capital delivery works. The purpose of this position is to provide construction assurance, working with the Quality Manager and Client assurance teams to demonstrate the company and client construction quality procedures are being followed and that work is being delivered to a high standard.

Other duties include: Liaising with Operations and sub-contractors to support approval of submissions and passing through key milestones as well as Supporting contractor and Operations liaison during the design, delivery and commissioning process, ensuring zero customer down time, monitoring SLA’s and KPIs. The types of works you will be involved in will be a varied selection of Thames Water infrastructure works.

  • You will be working for one of the best water contractors in London & the South East. On top of this you will be rewarded with a salary of £50,000 – £58,000 + £5600 car allowance.

About the Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of the processes used in Water/Wastewater/Networks.
  • Previous experience in the Utility industry, ideally working in water for a UK based Utility contractor.
  • Understanding of the development of design, construction, and operation of above and below ground projects.
