About the Employer

Our client is a multi-award-winning bespoke joinery fit-out and manufacturing specialist based in, Hertfordshire. Delivering, bespoke joinery packages for a variety of main contractors, including Bowmer and Kirkland and Laing O’Rourke as well private clients. This company offer a one stop shop service, undertaking projects from design stage, production through to installation.

They boast a modern and newly kitted out office / factory where cutting edge technology and state of the art equipment is used to create our first-class products.

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced CNC router programmer who has worked in a high quality bespoke Joinery company and has a passion for producing top Quality Joinery. You will be a key member of the production office team & get the opportunity to work in our brand new workshop that showcases some of the best 4 axis CNC machines on the market.

Key duties:

  • Programming our nesting and pod & rail CNC machines using 2D and 3D data
  • Oversee the CNC operator to ensure the works are of the highest standard of quality & efficiency
  • Assist the production team with producing information such as cutting lists, labels & other information as required
  • Specify and order tooling for bespoke projects
  • Reviewing working practices to make department more efficient.


Key skills:

  • Highly experienced CNC router operator within bespoke Joinery
  • Highly experienced CNC router programmer within bespoke Joinery (Homag machines beneficial)
  • Woodwop software experience (not essential)
  • Experience with 3D models and 2D drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understand project level technical drawings
  • Autocad experience (not essential)
  • Proficient with the full Microsoft Office suite
  • High standard of accuracy & quality
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Flexible working attitude.
