About the opportunity:

Due to a busy pipeline of project work our client is seeking to appoint a Clerk of Works to join a team of Site Inspectors to undertake inspections and snagging to private new builds to maximise the finish whilst driving contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the client. You will also be responsible for End of defect inspections and undertake site inspections to several developments to carry out checks on quality, progress and to provide technical support to any onsite issues. At times the role may extend into an assistant project manager capacity, assisting the residential and commercial teams in delivering large development schemes throughout the Greater / London area.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

The company is flexible with regards to remuneration as the base salary on offer will be largely dependent on experience and sector knowledge. £55,000 base salary has been proposed as a guide, plus an additional benefits package.

 

About the requirements:

The ideal professional will have experience in undertaking site inspection on residential and commercial properties. You will be familiar with referring to drawings and written instructions, and have experience in construction, across sector. You will have a good understanding of materials, trades, methods and legal requirements within the building industry. Strong interpersonal skills with colleagues and contractors is key for this particular position.
