About the Role

This client is looking to expand their design team to develop CAD resources based at their head office, you will be tasked to service live jobs, crane planes and pre-construction. Primary responsibilities will include CAD draughting, Measures, markups & compiling project packs, splitting structural models according to programme, structural 3D modelling, general 3D modelling, presentations among others.

The salary for this position will be dependent on level of exposure to this industry, similar roles and experience within this sector. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary of around £30,000 – £50,000 depending on experience. The package may also include various benefits relating to travel and healthcare.

About the Requirements

A high level of proficiency in CAD civils 3D and also ideally land modelling experience is preferred for this role but candidates with knowledge of various other software such as 3ds Max, Synchro and Bluebeam Revu may also be considered. Extensive knowledge of Office programs (Powerpoint, Excel etc) is essential in this role. In addition to this, candidates should be able to read construction drawings with an attention to detail of spatial awareness in 3D environments, should be organised and able to adapt to meet deadlines as part of the pre-construction team.
