About the role:

Our client’s dedicated design team is responsible for the design of new offices, commercial and industrial developments, including the refurbishment design of existing offices and depots. The team is also responsible for space planning and layouts for new and existing offices, and preparation of Planning and Building Regulation applications. They also cover contract administration and supervision during construction.


A busy project pipeline has resulted in an expanding workload for the Design Team, and the requirement for an experienced CAD Technician who will assist with the production of architectural and engineering drawings at all stages including concept, tender and construction. A key element of the opportunity is liaison with other professionals both within the office and members of the external design team and contractors.

About the requirements:

The ideal professional will have an excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience of technical drawing using AutoCAD in a consultancy environment. Revit experience would be an advantage.

You will be able to demonstrate your experience in the use of Microsoft office packages including Excel and generally be comfortable in communicating confidently and professionally in the office and on the telephone when representing the company.
