With a very forward thinking owner the company more recently expanded into Fire stopping and Logistics offering their Clients a multi-disciplined service. With a full order book and a projected turnover of £35m for 2020, this company based in Kent cover nationwide. Throughout their establishment they’ve developed long standing relationships with a range of High profile clients such as Willmott Dixon, McLaren and Mace

 

Our client is in the market for a Business development manager to maintain long standing relationships as well as build new ones to expand their ever-growing client base.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to come into their business and help drive continued growth of the company. As part of the continued development of their Country wide operations they are seeking an experienced construction business development professional with a proven track-record in identifying and obtaining opportunities across the Nation. This role will include but not be limited to: Providing our client with a steady stream of tender opportunities in order to increase turnover and profitability in line with the business plan and promoting the image of the organisation within the market place. You will also be providing new business opportunities, which reflect the business objectives agreed in the current business plan. The successful candidate will also be able to identify key decision makers within Clients, Architects, Quantity Surveyors and other professionals who are able to provide repeat build and fit-out business opportunities. You will need to roll up your sleeves and regularly review potential clients identify their individual work programmes from which likely new business opportunities will be forthcoming. You will also be ensuring that the value of new business opportunities is sufficient each month to support and maintain the targeted growth and maintaining high market visibility by attending networking and construction events.

About the Benefits/Rewards:

The base salary and benefits is open for discussion dependant on experience and exposure to the construction industry.

The successful candidate will come from a subcontract background and be passionate about their career. This opportunity would suit an individual with an exceptional knowledge of the Brickwork, Fire stopping and Logistics sectors. The candidate will have developed a network of key industry contacts such as main contractors and developers throughout their career to date.
