About the opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence the success and growth of a small to medium-sized business.  You will be supporting the pre-contract team in London and reporting into a supportive and friendly Business Development Director. You will manage the process from tender launch, presenting to senior management and creating the bid strategy.

This opportunity will involve preparing and administrating pre-tender and tender proposals to improve overall bid efficiencies on public and private projects including frameworks. You will be responsible for sourcing, collating writing and winning tenders, whilst raising the company’s profile via high quality, bespoke tender submissions and pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQ).

In addition, you will be maintaining and developing up-to-date tender information on the in-house tracking system.

About the benefits and rewards:

The base salary depends on the individuals’ level of experience and is in the region of £35,000 to £55,000. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

About the requirements:

You must have solid experience of managing bids/coordinating the tender process and a strong background in construction. You must also have previous experience of writing submissions and be commercially astute in terms of identifying bid opportunities and putting together a compelling tender. Furthermore, you will have excellent verbal and written communication along with attention to detail and an ability to meet tight deadlines.
