About the company:

This is an exciting time to join a business which has recently restructured and is currently expanding its housebuilding business.  The group as a whole has a circa £400m turnover with almost 40,000 homes across London and the South East with thousands more in the pipeline.

This region in particular focuses on self-build developments and also main contracting to deliver home building targets for private sale, shared ownership, and affordable housing on a number of exceptional, high end developments. Building predominately in Surrey working with award winning architects this region focuses on low rise developments between 70-600 units although they are currently working on a large development in Oxford comprising 3,000 units. Commercially they are one of the strongest players in their field.

About the role:

You will be responsible for coordinating our subcontractor design to suit the individual development programme. You will assist in coordinating and managing externally appointed professionals to complete each development on time and to budget ensuring that all client requirements are met to the best possible standard.

About the requirements:

  • Highly organised individual with strong attention to detail to ensure all details are gathered, co-ordinated, distributed and delivered by the project deadlines with a high level of accuracy
  • Desirable that you have some previous contracting/development experience within house building as well as an understanding of construction legislation and building regulations.
  • Experience of coordinating technical updates within a sales and marketing function would also be advantageous
  • A clear thinking person demonstrating attention to detail who is well organized and can operate independently under a broad direction.

About the benefits and rewards:

In general salaries will take into consideration a number of factors including market practice, the individuals experience and responsibilities and pay structures within the company itself. Salaries might be set below the market level, and subject to performance, increased as the employee gains experience over time. In this instance the company are looking to pay up to £40,000 basic salary plus package.
