Our client is recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to be part of an experienced construction team on a truly unique development and restoration project close to the Essex coast.


About the Company:

Our client is a well renowned construction company who are at the forefront of specialist restoration and change of use residential developments. They have been in business since the 1980’s and are continuing to expand their business with great success within this niche area. They mainly specialise in restoration and conversion work on Grade listed buildings into high specification apartments, duplexes and traditional mews houses, alongside new build developments. Projects are nationwide ranging from small niche to 400 unit projects, with current projects in Essex, Hertfordshire, London, Edinburgh and Bristol.


About the Role

This position will be based on a long term multifaceted project, that includes new build residential, public grounds, hospitality and leisure facilities. This role will provide the individual to benefit from day to day hands-on guidance and support balanced with a comfortable level of autonomy to enable the individual to develop professionally to a more senior level within a year or two. You will take on responsibility for numerous projects and work closely with the project teams throughout construction.


About Salary/ Benefits

Salary will be in the region of £20,000 – £29,000. In addition to this you will receive a generous benefits package including Car Pension, Healthcare, Bonuses. About the Requirements

Suitable candidates will have a background in construction, and will be in the early stages of their career in site management and seeking an opportunity to receive training and guidance to benefit a more structures approach to their career. A degree in a construction related field, or trade backed up with higher education would be beneficial. SMSTS, SCSC & First Aid required.
