About the Company:

Our client is a Dry Lining Contractor who are part of a well-established Construction and Civil Engineering Group with a recent combined turnover circa £100m. Specialising in internal packages ranging anything from £50,000 to £5m including Partitions, Ceilings, Floor Screeding and Rendering systems predominately within the residential sector, this Specialist Contractor have built long standing relationships with a variety of House Builders including Fairview and Redrow Homes. Main areas of operation are Southern Home Counties, but with a strategic growth plan, our client is now breaking into markets within London and Northern Home Counties. Due to high demand and company expansion are Client is in the market for Assistant Quantity Surveyors.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who is looking for stability and opportunity for career development. Your role will include but not be limited to: Negotiating and preparing Contracts as well as assisting with compiling the documentation required for tender selection interviews and attending these interviews. When at the pre-commencement stage you will be expected to organise the financial budgets, place sub-contract orders and liaise with logistics’ director for an organised start. The successful candidate will also be expected to roll up their sleeves and attend the site works including site meetings, assist preparing schedules of variations, co-ordinate valuations, co-ordinate the on-going budget through to final account. In addition to these you will be managing client expectations throughout the project to avoid conflict on financial issues.
