About the opportunity:

Due to a lengthy period of sustained growth, our client is currently seeking a Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their Quantity Surveying skills in a friendly and supportive environment with an established QS team. The aim is to develop skills in line with those inherent of a Quantity Surveyor, including assisting in the management of all financial and contractual aspects of contracts, assisting in achieving, if not exceeding forecasted contract(s) turnover and net profit recovery and assisting in ensuring robust, timely and relevant data recording and reporting (amongst others).

About the requirements:

The ideal professional will have experience in Quantity Surveying either as a Junior or an Assistant. You may have a degree, A-Levels or HNC in a construction related discipline and will have a keen interest in the construction industry. The successful professional must also be confident, be able to build relationships quickly, and possess strong IT skills (particularly Microsoft Word/Excel), whilst also possessing a commercial mindset.
