Our client is a growing privately-owned main contractor specialising in residential build partnering and general main contracting projects across London and the surrounding counties.  They operate out of two headquarters, based both in London and Hertfordshire, enabling them to provide attentive support to their clients. They currently turnover £150m and have the capabilities to undertake contracts to the value of £30m. They believe in committing to deliver a personal service through partnership and collaboration with a problem-solving mentality. This approach allows them to build strong relationships with their clients ensuring repeat business with regular clients and consultants.

About the opportunity:

My client is currently recruiting for project in East London. These a large RC frame multi unit sites and you will be part of a newly formed site team, enabling you to work on projects from breaking ground to completion.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company with stability and a healthy project pipeline.  Working across the company’s portfolio of projects you will have a diverse role within the business with a mixture of office and site based working. You will predominantly working on the construction of residential developments in and around London with a mix of private and social housing.  You will be working across a variety of areas of construction including on-site delivery, design & planning issues, which will help you to continue your professional development.

About the benefits and rewards:

The salary offered always depends on the level of experience of the candidate and their exposure to the relevant industry sector.  In this instance they are ideally looking to pay up to £35,000 to £45,000.

About the requirements:

For this opportunity you will need to have a solid understanding of the construction process as well as being commercially aware. You will ideally be degree educated and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably working for a main contractor or residential developer.  In addition, you will need to have a willingness to be involved in a variety of different areas involved within the construction process. SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid required
