About the Employer:

Based in Bucks, Our client is a multi-disciplined Sub-Contractor specialising in, Façade systems, Dry Lining and  Fire stopping who have built an outstanding industry reputation on delivering first class construction packages within various sectors of industry including, High End Residential, Commercial, Leisure and Educational and Health

Throughout their 10 year establishment they’ve spearheaded the industry with dynamic approach and have built / maintained strong client relationships with some of the UK’s largest construction firms including Kier, Galliford Try, Multiplex and McLaren. They currently have an annual turnover of £25m and our clients’ prime focus is on packages ranging anything from £1m to £8m, working within London and Surrounding Counties.

About the Opportunity:

The role is for the Fire stopping division of the company which is the newest arm of the business, where our Client is looking to expand and grow this side of business with a vision outset to become a market leader within Fire stopping (supply and installation) Industry.

Due to recent growth our Client is looking to strengthen their operations team and they’re in the market for an Assistant Project Manager to work alongside the Senior Contracts Manager. This role will suit any driven fire stopping professionals who are looking to step up from a supervisor role or any up and coming construction professionals, seeking a long term position within a specialist field.

The role will include; overseeing installation, liaising with multiple site teams, following contractual agreements, quality assurance, compliance checks, programming reports, and client meetings.

Candidate must have complete sector experience from a Fire stopping background with comprehensive knowledge in all aspects of fire stopping procedures and products, intumescent spray and flexible cavity barriers (curtains)
