About the opportunity:

Based upon current and anticipated workload, my client is recruiting permanently for a Remediation Assistant Project Manager who will be responsible for assisting in the management of contaminated land remediation contracts throughout the M25 corridor, with values up to £5M.

As a Remediation Assistant Project Manager, you will join the company’s existing management team, reporting directly to the Project Manager, coordinating activities with the site team and client. You will be responsible for assisting in the management of technical, operational and commercial aspects on all remediation projects, ensuring they are managed within time and budget and that health and safety is adhered to at all times. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will have a clear understanding of the value of the contact and its duration and you will have a clear understanding of the client and project expectations and requirements.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a degree / HNC or equivalent in a construction related discipline (geology, civil engineering or similar) and have a minimum of 2 years post graduate experience whilst working within the contaminated land / remediation / construction / bulk earthworks or civil engineering discipline.

Furthermore, you must hold a CSCS, SMSTS and have experience in asbestos CAT A and temporary works coordination.

About the salary / rewards:

For this position, we are targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere between £30,000 – £50,000 per annum, however specific remuneration will depend on experience and suitability. There will also be a generous package offered – car allowance, Pension, Healthcare, Bonus in addition to other benefits associated with a large successful company.
