About the opportunity:

Due to continued growth, my client is currently recruiting permanently for an Assistant Estimator. Reporting to the Pre-Construction Director you will be responsible for assisting with tenders, project costings and valuations for enabling works projects in London. Guidance and training will be provided on an ongoing basis and you will be responsible for managing bid qualifications, compiling and preparing relevant pre-tender information including the completion of PQQ’s; supporting the project team in pre-tender meetings; inspecting and reviewing all tender documentation; liaising with project teams to establish and agree proposals for the required scope of works and determine bill of quantities with rates for labour, materials and subcontractors to name just a few duties.

About the requirements:

In order to be considered for this opportunity, professionals should be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a relevant discipline. Additionally, you must have a keen interest in the demolition / deconstruction sector and be reliable and trustworthy.

About the benefits and rewards:

For this permanent opportunity, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability, however the successful professional could expect to target a basic salary anywhere from £35,000 – £50,000 per annum. Furthermore, there will be a generous package on offer in addition to the usual benefits associated with a large successful company.
