My client is a specialist Water and Civil Engineering contractor turning over £50M per annum and is now connected with 2 larger groups turning over £90M – £100M per company, per annum. This collaboration ensures clients are receiving excellent service as they’re able to innovate on the latest technologies and methods in the industry. Together, both companies specialise in many parts of Civil Engineering which are predominately water & utilities, such as clean & wastewater infrastructure, non-infrastructure, recalling, multi utilities, and reactive maintenance. They have secured a long-term contract for Southern Water’s sewage network, covering Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, and Isle of Wight.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be reporting into and providing direct administration support to the Plant & Transport Manager. You will be liaising with the area operational resources to ensure key Framework IT based processes are managed, up to date and regular management information (MI) reports are produced. You will be Maintain databases and the HGV movements spreadsheet, monitor active defect reports, and ensure defects actioned, review quotes and allocate order numbers, and driving license checks.

It is essential that you have strong problem-solving skills and administration skills as you will need an understanding and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service is a necessity as you will be liaising directly with customers and clients on a weekly basis. You will also need the confidence to communicate with field personnel and office staff.
