My client is a specialist Water and Civil Engineering contractor turning over £50M per annum and is now connected with 2 larger groups turning over £90M – £100M per company, per annum. This collaboration ensures clients are receiving excellent service as they’re able to innovate on the latest technologies and methods in the industry. Together, both companies specialise in many parts of Civil Engineering which are predominately water & utilities, such as clean & wastewater infrastructure, non-infrastructure, recalling, multi utilities, and reactive maintenance. They have secured a long-term contract for Southern Water’s sewage network, covering Sussex, Kent, Hampshire, and Isle of Wight.

About the role:

The successful candidate will be providing Service Drawings for required jobs and assist in Civils Admin tasks as when necessary. You will be sending the supervisors/gangs sewer maps and utility drawings, as well as providing admin support to other counties when required. Your role will include daily management of the Work Group for Civils, ensuring gangs have work sent to them in a timely manner and closing completed work orders in time for billing. Alongside this, you will be updating and managing the Civils work lost for the County and must have excellent customer service skills as you will keep customers, as well as CSMS, updated. You will need to stay client focused as you will be answering any enquiries via email from Southern Water.

Requirements:

It is essential that you have strong problem-solving skills and administration skills as you will need an understanding and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Office. Excellent customer service is a necessity as you will be liaising directly with customers and clients on a weekly basis. You will also need the confidence to communicate with field personnel and office staff.
