About The Company 

My client is a multi-disciplined, cash-rich, well-known sub-contractor who is currently turning over £75M per annum. They specialise primarily within the water (wastewater and clean water) and infrastructure areas of civil engineering, with offices in North London, Kent, and on the south coast (this role will be based in North London)

This position has come about due to continued and strategic ongoing growth but while the business is looking to expand, they are also keen to maintain their family feel and atmosphere, where it’s a fun working environment and everyone, is treated as a name, not a number, with the respect from the directors across the company.

About the opportunity 

Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking for a management accountant to offer support for the Head of Finance & Commercial Director. You will be supporting the monthly financial statements and accounts, including month-end and year-end consolidated reports, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance. You will be preparing the annual group budget, preparing weekly cash flow forecasts and analysing turnover figures, and creating forecasts/ budgets.


I am looking for someone who has worked as at least 5 years of experience working as an Accountant, within the Construction Industry. The successful candidate will need to have a CIMA Qualification or equivalent. On top of this, I will be looking for someone with good stability on their CV. For this role, management is important, I will be looking for someone who has experience in managing a team.
