About the role:

We currently have a vacancy for a recruitment consultant based out of our office in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. You will take on the responsibility of creating and establishing a new desk recruiting for the Piling and Marine sectors. This desk will complement our existing Civil Engineering team, which is made up of a Director, two Senior Consultants and a Recruitment Consultant. They place candidates in both main contract and sub-contract areas of civil engineering with the sectors covered including, but not limited to, infrastructure and highways, utilities and power, rail and underground, reinforced concrete frames, groundworks, demolition, remediation and piling. This opportunity will provide you with the platform to develop a new section of the business and build a strong, focused client list.

The dedicated recruiter will be given a good balance between support and autonomy to manage their desk and in doing so, manage the process, open-up and manage client and candidate relationships, source candidates for roles, liaise with other consultants in the team and general business and process new preferred supplier list (PSL) applications as required.

As a growing company, your position within the business will naturally elevate to a role with more responsibility, gaining more experience over time.

 

About the benefits and rewards:

Remuneration will be extremely generous. We base salaries on the experience and abilities of each professional but offer beyond the typical level in the industry. You can expect a basic salary from £20,000 to £40,000 and on target earnings of a minimum £80,000 to £100,000 in the first year. In addition to basic salary and commission with no upper threshold, we offer generous quarterly bonuses, quarterly target based office events, regular team social events, ongoing perks through Perkbox and a drinks fridge.

 

About the requirements:

Successful applicants will have prior experience of recruitment and will be capable of business generation and client delivery leading to fees.

Ideally, you will have knowledge or experience of the construction industry, however, this is not essential. Most importantly the successful candidate will be self-motivated, conscientious, show strong organisational skills and demonstrate a high level of intelligence.
