Playing Santa at a Christmas visit to bibic

This Christmas season, we decided not to provide our clients with gifts. Instead, we used the same funds to buy Christmas presents for the children who visit our nominated charity, bibic.  For more information about bibic and why we support them, please click here.

Working closely with the team at bibic, we ensured the gifts we got them would not only be fun for the children to use but would also benefit their therapy sessions and, hopefully, make a difference to the time the children spent at the charity. This created an eclectic list of gifts that ranged from sensory body socks to wobble stools to a wiggle car.

We were lucky enough to go to bibic and deliver the gifts in person. On Tuesday 12th December, a group of Cityscapers wrapped up in Christmas jumpers and headed to the sunny Somerset countryside with a car laden with gifts. In doing so we got to meet the whole bibic team and a special little girl called Mia, who helped open the gifts. Mia first visited bibic 6 months previously and on her return, wowed her therapists with her progress.

We had a lovely day meeting Mia and everybody at bibic. We felt we had a good understanding of the work they did before we visited, but actually going to visit and seeing first-hand made us realise we didn’t know the half of it! The work they do is amazing, and we are more determined than ever to help them further next year and beyond.

Thank you for having us bibic! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from all at Cityscape Recruitment.
