Cityscape Recruitment Baked a difference for bibic

For one day a week for the whole of November, all of our Cityscape Recruitment employees were able to turn up the oven heat and get involved with baking a difference for bibic, in the aim of raising awareness and vital funds to help support the children treated by bibic. You can read more about bibic and their big bibic bake off here. With each person having a category to choose from, there were a variety of baked goods once a week for four weeks.

How did it work?

The four categories were cake, biscuit, pastry and savoury, a different set of four individuals from Cityscape Recruitment had to bring in their chosen baked category each week which would then be judged by two employees, our very own Paul and Pru. As we like to add a bit of fun and friendly competition in anything we do, there was a chance to be named star baker for each category who would win a Stand together and Bake for bibic tea towel. With a selection of different bakes, instead of the employees bringing in their own lunch or going out to buy lunch, they would instead give a donation and buy their lunch from the bakers, we are pleased to say that we have managed to raise £195.50 for bibic.

Congratulations to the Star Bakers of each category:

Pastry – Laura Pyle

Cake – Katelynn Sturgeon

Biscuit – Craig Morgan

Savoury – Billy Bittmann-Myers
