The ‘big bibic bake off’ week round up

Last week, bibic held their first ever ‘big bibic bake off‘. It coincided with National Baking Week. It was a celebration of baking and getting together with friends, loved ones and colleagues to have a lot of fun.

We took part for the whole of last week and are happy to announce that we jointly raised £175! Considering we charged £1.50 a cake, that’s a lot of cake!!

A couple of our team baked goodies each day to sell to their colleagues and our visitors. We also competed for the coveted #bibicshowstopper prize! And it’s safe to say that we fully embraced the week – we had some great bakes (and fakes) to devour. We ate so much cake Monday to Wednesday, that we were all calling out for some savoury bakes. So on Thursday and Friday, sausage rolls and bread (in the form of sausage and bacon baps!) were on offer. See below pictures from each day of our big bibic bake off.

By taking part, we not only got to eat lots of cake (and laugh at our colleagues’ attempts at baking) but we hoped to raise important funds to improve children’s lives and raise awareness about the conditions many children struggle with.
