Our client is a well-known and highly respected contractor within the commercial fit out market. Based in Harrow and a specialist in an array of interior works, ranging from Bespoke Joinery, Partitioning, Washrooms, Ceilings, Flooring and architectural glazing and Metalwork.
With a proven track record based on quality and successful project delivery, they boast an impressive list of clients including Mace, Sir Robert McAlpine and ISG and have notably featured on a range of London’s major construction schemes, by providing first class interiors packages from design stages through to installation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
About the role:
Due to continuous growth, our client is in the market for an experienced Senior Design Manager within the interior fit out / joinery market. This opportunity will suit an individual who can demonstrate all the required skills to manage 3-4 external CAD technicians/junior designers. You will be client facing, able to demonstrate good time management and be able to get the most from your team who will be working to tight deadlines to manage the client’s expectations. You role will also require you to be confident in communicating your ideas, processes and experience to aid further development of the department. You will be reporting directly to the operations director but outlines an opportunity to oversee the design department and make it your own.

Requirements:
Our client is open to looking at Senior Design Managers from a specialist joinery background and have experience working on commercial fit out projects. The role will be based between their Head office in Harrow and their projects, located in Central London. Must be fully competent in overseeing projects from pre-construction through to handover, managing all design aspects.
