I am looking for a Quality Manager or Head of Quality for one of my best clients in the UK!

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Currently operating with a turnover of around £200 million per annum, this privately owned specialist concrete frame & groundwork subcontractor builds packages/projects ranging from £5 million up to £100 million each. Their client base is a mixture of residential and commercial developers and main contractors, with live projects secured with some of the top names in and around London.

I am watching this business go from strength to strength, reinvesting constantly, and creating a stronger and stronger brand in the market. Clients are coming back for repeat work and new clients are knocking on their door because of the way they work and the reputation they have developed. Because of this, they are attracting some of the best talent in the market, and with plans to grow further, options still exist for people to progress in their careers into senior positions. They really are one to watch and one to speak with if you’re considering career options now.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In line with this organisations brand, they are looking to further enhance their service by bringing someone on board to head up quality. If successful, it will be your responsibility to work with the management and site teams, visit sites while also working from the office, and improve systems to isolate any quality needs, improve quality processes, and ultimately have an impact that leaves both clients and customers happier with their end results.

Keep in mind this organisation already has an amazing reputation for standards and what they do, so we don’t need someone who is going to reinvent the wheel, but rather someone who enjoys working with like-minded individuals with a focus on constant improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Quite simply I am looking to speak with individuals who are Quality Managers or Heads of Quality Departments already. Ideally, you’ll have worked for rival RC frame & groundwork subcontractors, but I am open to main contract or development backgrounds too. Because of the locations of our client’s offices and sites, this would suit someone based in or around London.

REWARDS AND BENEFITS

This is hard to put a specific figure on because it will all depend on how much experience you can bring to the table. We are however considering those who are up-and-coming experience-wise as well as those who are already department heads, hence the fairly open salary bracket of £70,000 to £100,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses. This will be negotiated one-on-one during the interview process.
