ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking to build a dedicated Health & Safety desk within our permanent white-collar team here at Cityscape Recruitment Ltd. Focusing on (initially) existing roles and clients we have across the construction and civil engineering markets and building towards a desk that operates across a multitude of sectors, this role offers someone the chance to build a lucrative stand-alone desk and the future opportunity to build a team. Health & Safety is at the forefront of most sectors and we have live vacancies ready to be filled. The growth potential for this desk is huge and with an established client and candidates date base you will be able to hit the ground running.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants will ideally have prior experience of white-collar construction or civil engineering recruitment and will be capable of business generation and client delivery leading to fees. In a perfect world you will have recruited for Health & Safety individuals in the past, but this is not crucial as a platform already exists.
Most importantly a successful Recruitment Consultant will be self-motivated, have a confident personality, be willing to work with a variety of people, be conscientious, show strong organisational skills and demonstrate a high level of intelligence.
REWARDS AND BENEFITS
We base salaries on the experience and ability of each professional we meet but offer beyond the typical level in the industry. You can expect a basic salary from £30,000 to £40,000 and a commission structure that has no threshold, with brackets starting at 10% working up to 35% of everything you bill. In addition to basic salary and commission, we offer generous quarterly bonuses, quarterly target-based events, regular team social events (which you could be part of), on-going perks and smaller benefits inside our offices. We reward our staff so they are motivated to do the best they can and then they see the rewards for their effort.

When you first contact us, be that through direct contact, responding to an advert or applying through our website, we will connect you with a consultant who works in your specialist area.
Initially, they will arrange a meeting to talk through your CV and career history. They will encourage you to go into detail about your background and experiences, capabilities and responsibilities, personal circumstances and any other factors they feel are relevant to help them build up a well-rounded profile of you.

After this meeting, the consultant will speak to a number of their clients about you and your CV. Who they speak to can be either jointly agreed upon or you can trust the judgement and expertise of the consultant to contact clients they feel are the best fit for your experience and goals.

If you are successful in receiving an offer(s), our consultant will communicate this with you and help to negotiate the offer(s) and any other terms of employment.
Finally, we will support you in resigning from your current role, navigating potential counter offers and starting your new role.
